Kelsie asked 2 years ago

Hey everyone,
I’m wanting to go Disney World in January/February with 2 adults and my daughter. I want to stay budget friendly and I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on the best way to go about booking, or know of any hotels that are close enough to disney world that it’s easy to get there but cheaper than actually staying at the resort. Also, do any hotels outside of the park offer deals with passes?
Thanks in advance!

I was down there a few years ago. We stayed in Kissimmee which is fairly close to the park. The hotels in the area had shuttles to the parks and downtown Disney. If I were to do it again I would stay at one of the resort hotels, some don’t seem to have too bad of pricing. It will still be cheaper to stay in Kissimmee though.
We didn’t find any deals on tickets but the more days you go for the cheaper it gets.

The reason I would stay on resort is just the convenience of getting around. Without a rental car you are at the mercy of the shuttles if you stay in Kissimmee. On resort there are shuttles going around to all the parks all the time.

Thanks, Chris! I’m thinking the ease of staying at one of the resort hotels will be worth the extra money. Considering I’ll be lugging around a 3 year old. Haha

Absolutely. I wouldn’t do it any other way again. Especially with a little one in tow.
